You can always type the date. The camera and the barcode are only there to make it faster.

Show the label
A photo of the expiry date is read. If no date is found, the field stays empty. The app does not invent a name.

Scan the barcode
EAN and UPC codes are matched to a name through Open Food Facts. A miss still opens the form for you to fill in.

Remember on the day
The default reminder is 7, 3, and 1 days before, plus the expiry day, at 09:00 local time. Refusing permission leaves the list intact.

Mark an item used or discarded and it leaves the active list. Shared items stay out of your personal stats. If a product has a life after opening, the tracked date follows that.

Is SKT Takip free?
The download is free. The free plan holds 10 active items, 5 label reads a month, and 5 barcodes a month. Premium is monthly or yearly. The price is on the App Store or Google Play.
What if the photo has no date?
The field stays empty. The app does not invent a name. You pick the date on the calendar.
When does the reminder arrive?
The default is 7, 3, and 1 days before, and on the last day, at 09:00 on the phone clock. If you refuse permission, the list still stays.
